Charged on the oath of Thomas Alcock, of the parish of Stottesdon, shoemaker, on suspicion of having, in the night between the 27th and 28th days of December, 1817, feloniously stolen from the premises of William Childes, of the parish of Stottesdon, one cock fowl, the property of the said Thomas Alcock NB the said William Garbett and Thomas Garbett stand further charged upon the oath of Samuel Evans, of the parish of Cotton, on a violent suspicion of feloniously stealing one hen fowl, the property of him the said Samuel Evans, and one cock fowl, the property of Joseph Preece, of Bridgnorth, waterman: committed until the next assizes, the 23rd day of January, 1818, by the Rev Thomas M Lyster and the Rev Edmund Carr, clerks The said William Garbett stands further charged upon the oath of Sarah Mountford, of the parish of Claverley, on a violent suspicion of having, on 11th January, 1818, between the hours of 10 and 1 o'clock, feloniously broken and entered her dwellinghouse, no person being therein, and feloniously stolen and taken away from thence a loaf of bread and a small quantity of lard, the property of the said Sarah Mountford: com | Imprisoned six calendar months and privately whipped |
