Charged upon oath with having, on 22 May, at the parish of clipping Mortimer, tendered in payment to Lydia, wife of Edward Beavan, a counterfeit three shilling piece, knowing it to be so, and did on the same day, knowingly tender three other counterfeit three shilling pieces to her: committed until he shall be discharged by due course of law, the 23rd day of May, 1815, by the Rev JB Blakeway, Clerk | The handwriting is difficult to read but it appears to say one year's imprisonment in the gaol and then the equivalent of being bound over for good behaviour for two years afterwards |
