Committed by the Rev Thomas Woodward, Clerk, and Thomas Botfield, Esq, October 4, 1840, charged with felony by him committed by breaking into the dwelling-house of Thomas Powell, of Hopton Wafers, in the night-time, and feloniously stealing a quantity of bacon, hanged beef, candles, butter, mutton, bread, cheese, and other articles, the property of the said Thomas Powell and his daughter. Margaret Jordan is charged with receiving the property knowing it to have been stolen, and William Jordan is charged with being privy to the same
